Curvy 9-Patch Patchwork Quilt Class (suitable for Beginner)

Classes will take place on a Monday OR Wednesday OR Friday, 9:30am to 11:30am. Contact us (WhatsApp 86662088) to confirm class dates before booking. 

Class Fee: $320.00 (Does not include materials)

Duration: 4 sessions, 3.5hrs each session.

Class Size: Max. 3 students, min. 2 to start.

Location: 2Quilters Workspace (50 Gambas Crescent, #08-03, Singapore 757022)

Supplies to bring: pencils, note book,                                                                             

Class Difficulty Level: Beginner.
Suitable for beginner or experienced crafters. You will learn rotary cutting technique and  machine piecing to achieve accurate seam allowances.

The class will be covered over 4 sessions:

Day 1

• How to read a Quilt Design and break down the design components 
  
• Cutting and Construction of Block 1's components

Day 2

• Cutting and Construction of Block 2's components
  
• Putting together the quilt top

Day 3

• Quilt basting method options
• Selection of quilting threads type & colour and quilting design
• Machine Quilting technique with Walking Foot

Day 4

• Preparation of Binding Strips
  
• Attaching Binding to quilt top 
• Hand finishing the binding

*Pattern and instructions are included in the class fee. Materials like fabrics, batting and threads are not included, but available at a discounted rate. Sewing Machine, rotary cutter and rulers will be provided for your use.

 Important points to note:

1. We will confirm your registration via text or email.
2. Please ensure that you are able to come for all sessions at the stated dates and times.
3. Please arrive at least 5 mins before start of class as we will begin each session promptly.
4. If you are feeling unwell, please do not come for the class and let us know so that we can arrange the make-up session with you.
5. Please do not bring guests or your children to classes as the sessions are only for registered for participants only.
6. Please ensure that you have a sewing machine in good working condition with a walking foot attachment. You will be required to complete part of the work at home before the following session. If you do not have a sewing machine or looking for an upgrade, please let us know and we will share some features that would be useful for quilting projects.
