The design is pre-printed on the fabric. Markings can be removed by washing.

Hitomezashi (one-stitch) is very fun and easy to do. Complete all the stitching vertically, then horizontally across the fabric and finally the diagonal lines. The sewing lines are clearly marked on the fabric.
