Class Difficulty Level: Confident beginner.
Suitable for crafters who have completed our preparatory class #1. Or for those who are comfortable with using a rotary cutter and sewing on a machine.

Learn how to make this beautiful modern log cabin variation design by Krista Hennebury! Aimee will guide you step by step on rotary cutting techniques for cutting your fabric and sewing the pieces with accurate seam allowances. 

The class will be covered over 2 sessions:

Day 1

  • Cutting fabrics accurately and efficiently
  • How needles and threads affect your patchwork piecing
  • Construction of the blocks and how to handle seams

Day 2

  • Putting quilt blocks together

*All pattern/fabric materials for the quilt top are included. Sewing Machine, rotary cutter and rulers will be provided for your use. 

* If you are unsure if the class is suitable for you, please reach out to us and we will suggest the best classes for you.

 Important points to note:

  1. We will confirm your registration via text or email.
  2. Please ensure that you are able to come for all sessions at the stated dates and times.
  3. Please arrive at least 5 mins before start of class as we will begin each session promptly.
  4. If you are feeling unwell, please do not come for the class and let us know so that we can arrange the make-up session with you.
  5. Please do not bring guests or your children to classes as the sessions are only for registered for participants only.
  6. Please ensure that you have a sewing machine in good working condition with  quarter inch foot attachment. You will be required to complete part of the work at home before the following session.
