For embroidery or sewing projects on delicate fabrics, while respecting the fibers, discover our range of ball-point needles! The tip of these needles is rounded, allowing for better penetration of fabric fibers by gently separating the weave for smoother gliding. Their elongated eyes make them highly valued for embroidery work.

The 40mm ball needle size is ideal for 5.5 and 6 count Aida cloths as well as 10 count evenweave.

Size 37 mm for Aida 7 fabrics, linen and evenweave.

The added bonus: the ball needle is very effective for untying knots.

What size do you need?

Available in three common sizes: 5 (40mm), 7 (37mm), and 9 (34mm). All three sizes are great for cross stitch and embroidery. Depending on what type of fabric you use, you may want to choose a smaller or larger one. The 5 is largest and recommended for lower count fabrics. Use size 7 on low or medium count fabrics. Finally, Size 9 is smallest and is great for high count fabrics.
